 
Founded in 1992, PPC Portman is the trading name of Portman Publishing and Communications Limited, which was
voted one of the best business start-ups in 1993.
The company has always specialised in publishing sports business magazines,
and in February 1993 launched the UK's first business-to-business journal for the football industry aptly named Football Management.
After selling Football Management, the company continued its association with the sports industry by launching Golf Management Europe magazine in September 1997.
